Beach Wedding Dresses

Welcome to our gallery of Silk Sarong & Scarf Sets. Island Importer is excited and honored to offer these magnificently beautiful, hand-made, one-of-a-kind beach wedding dress fabrics from the artists of Eastern Java. Each set is painted by hand using the batik method, which uses wax to resist the dyes in certain areas of the artist's designs. Each set has been photographed individually and, once sold, may be gone forever.

Unfortunately, we are not yet ready to offer the completed wedding dress you see in our wedding photos. Only the material is available for purchase through our website. Our reasoning is that the design of this wedding gown must be extremely fitted and tailored to the body of each individual bride. We cannot achieve the proper fit based solely on measurements. We recommend finding a tailor in your local area that can work with you hands on to acheive the look and fit that is uniquely yours.

We are currently working on some new, more versatile designs that can be custom ordered in these materials. Any questions you have regarding these fabrics may be directed to us by phone or email.
