Planning a beach wedding or special event?

Island Importer specializes in comfortable, made-to-order, natural fiber clothing for destination weddings. If we do not stock the size or color that you wish to order, we will gladly custom-make the garments for you and/or your entire wedding party - including children! Yes, we will make any of our garments in matching children sizes! And for all children, our $20 custom-order fee is waived. Please call customer service at 541-482-5750 before placing your order to receive this discount.

With only four simple steps, you'll have your wedding attire custom-made according to your size and color specifications!

  • From the product page, select the ‘Custom Order’ tab.
  • If ordering a standard size, or a modification to a standard size, enter your size in the 'Standard size' field.
  • Enter your body measurements in the appropriate fields. Please refer to the body diagrams at the bottom of this page.
  • Select from our range of colors. Note: As colors may vary per monitor, we strongly suggest ordering swatches before placing custom orders. Order swatches

Essential jacket measurements for:

Monaco suit

  • Chest : Place the measuring tape high under your arms at the widest point, covering your chest and your shoulder blades. The tape should be completely level. As you breathe normally, have a friend insert a finger between your chest and the measuring tape. This suit measurement yields both your chest and suit size.
  • Overarm: To take this measurement place the tape measure over the outside of the arms across the thickest part of the chest.
  • Jacket length : This suit measurement determines the ideal length from the bottom of the collar to the bottom of the jacket. Measure from where your neck meets your back to a point just below the curve of your buttocks.
  • Sleeve length : In this suit measurement, determine your sleeve length by measuring from the outer edge of your shoulder to a point that just covers the wrist.

Pants:
Waist circumference
Low Hip circumference
Inseam (can measure existing pant)
Thigh circumference(at widest part)

Dresses:
You may custom order our stretch jersey dresses in standard sizes: S(0-4), M(6-8), L(10-12), XL(14-16).
For silk dresses, please provide the following measurements:
Cup Size
Bust circumference
Waist circumference
High Hip circumference
Low Hip circumference
Cross Shoulder length
Clavicle Center to Waist length
Center Back of Neck to Waist length
Center Back of Neck to Low Hip length
Shoulder to Bust Point length
Desired Dress Length (Measure from waist down to where you want the dress to fall in front)

Shirts:
Neck circumference
Chest circumference
Cross Shoulder length
Sleeve Length (If long-sleeve - measured from the outer edge of the shoulder to the first knuckle of the thumb).
Desired Shirt Length (Not required).
If a non-standard shirt length is desired, measure from base of neck to at least your low hip.  Too long is always better than too short!


Regular delivery for custom orders is 6 - 8 weeks. Custom orders requiring expedited delivery, i.e. those submitted less than eight weeks in advance, will be subject to an expediting fee starting at $35. This fee includes Global Fedex delivery directly from our factory to your door. Expedited delivery is not available on silk wedding dresses.

Please allow up to four weeks for expedited delivery of your custom order.
1-2 items: $35
3-4 items: $50
5-6 items: $75
7-10 items: $100 etc.

 

Note: Custom orders are non-refundable unless garment is flawed and/or not made according to the measurements you provided. In such cases, we will gladly remake your order. Custom orders may not be canceled or refunded 24 hours after order placement.
